We will be making Sensory/Fidget Quilts for people living with dementia and Alzheimers, they will also be suitable for people with Autism, ADHD or those recovering from a stroke. These quilts have proved to be a valuable and therapeutic aid in settling restless hands and agitated minds – alleviating stress for both patients and carers.||10.00 - 5.30|

|September 28th||Workshop - Miriam Edwards - "Felted Penny Rugs, Decorative Mats". Those of you who were at Miriam's talk in January will remember the examples Miriam showed us of "Penny Rugs". Penny Rugs are made by decorating larger pieces of felt with coin shaped felt pieces. Miriam will bring felt and thread with her. The challenge for 2017/18 will be to use a piece of "Ugly" fabric in a quilt or item of your choice. The fabric will be provided by OTQ and all of the fabric should be used.
